BGI OMNI SAMPLER

The BGI Omni Sampler is often used for saturation monitoring has generally been accomplished at low flow rates in order to keep the cost and weight of the equipment down. BGI has brought this aproach to its ultimate development with the addition of a true 5 lpm inlet. The concept is to "Saturate" an area with easily deployed, inexpensive filter samplers, to assess air quality in areas with high concentrations of pollutants or at reclamation sites. Saturation monitoring may also be conducted to characterise the spatial distribution of pollutant concentration or to evaluate the contributions of sources in support of receptor modelling.

The Omni can also be used for indoor and workplace sampling of dusts or used in fence line applications or where no mains power is available making the use of reference samplers impractical.

The inlet system jets can be changed to sample TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 in just a few seconds. The sample media is 47mm circular filters.

Ecotech MiniVOL sampler is a quiet battery operated sampler with optional wind speed and direction sensors and integrated temperature and pressure sensors. The inlets can also be changed to sample different PM fractions.
